This master class is based on well established principals and objectives of trauma management and is intended to provide surgeons and anaesthesiologists with an acceptable method for safe management, knowledge and skills, necessary to care for the critically injured trauma patient. The course consists of key lectures, multidisciplinary case presentations and case discussions. You will be able to practice damage control procedures on cadavers and on live anesthetized pigs. Sharing the surgical and anaesthesiological content, trauma care is taken to the next level. The course is also intended for military trauma surgeons and military anaesthesiologist. Included are lectures on blast, penetrating injuries and mass casualty care. Senior (inter)national faculty is attending. Many of them have military experience or a military background.
